Are these real businesses?

Yes. Every company is a live product on its own domain, taking real payments, with real customers to win. Nothing is simulated.

What is the Founding 50?

Our founding cohort. Why not just use ChatGPT or Claude?

They give you answers. Spelt gives you a company. A chat model hands you text you still have to turn into a product, a payment page and a way to find customers. Spelt builds those, runs them, and is still running them next month.

What does Spelt actually do?

Everything a founding team does. It researches the market, builds the product, turns on payments and goes after customers with outreach, articles and ads. Then it keeps running the company: testing, fixing, reporting back to you. You make the decisions that shape it.

What if my idea needs to change?

Then you pivot, and Spelt builds the new version. Founding members get a new build in month 2 and another in month 3, included.

What do I need to bring?

One idea and your human judgment. No coding, no hiring. Your knowledge of the problem is the one thing Spelt can't invent.

What kind of businesses does it build?

Mostly software: products that can be built and sold online, for businesses or for people. There are exceptions, like e-commerce. If you're not sure yours fits, share the idea with Spelt and find out.

How long until my first customer?

The company goes live quickly. The first paying customer depends on the market, the offer and the calls you make along the way; it is the milestone the whole thing is built around.

Can my business fail?

Yes, and that is fine. Spelt tests, learns and adjusts in days rather than quarters, so you find out fast and try the next one with what you learned.

How much does it cost, and what is the guarantee?

$29 a month for the Founding 50, hosting included. Spelt doesn't stop until your first paying customer, and if it's not for you, you get your money back within 30 days, no questions asked. Full conditions are in our Terms of Service.

Do you take a cut of what my business earns?

Yes, our platform fee is 5% of what your company sells, with Stripe's card processing charged on top, so you keep about 90-91%. Past $1,000 a month it replaces the $29 subscription instead of being added to it.
